Parker's Farewell

It was a sad but exciting day last Sunday when Parker my younger brother, and last sibling at home, left on his mission. He gave a great talk on Sunday and we had fun hanging out all week. I got to go to his setting apart on Tuesday night before he headed out on Wed morning. I was feeling great until he wrote me a last minute text right before he left, then I was crying. Well he is off to Halifax, Canada (up in the cold country). All the boys

When my brother Jason and Brianne and two kids Josh and Eric stayed with us for Parker's farwell we decided to bathe all the kids together. They had a blast, and it was Dilyn's first bubble bath.

Lake Powell

We went to Lake Powell for a week and left Dilyn with grandma Nebeker. My grandma has a share in a house boat so it is a Kjar tradition. We had a blast but it was really hard leaving Dilyn. We also ran into some bad weather the last day. Overall I love Lake Powell!

Idaho trip

Wow, it's been a while. Vacations have been lots of fun. First we visited Kyle's family in Idaho. We got to see our neice for the first time. She is super cute! Good job Brooke:)
Dilyn liked laying on the floor with Jaydaka, and he learned to be soft. He would pet her on the head - it was funny.

Trip to SLO

Dilyn and I went with Kyle on his work trip to San Luis Obispo. Dilyn and I took day trips to the zoo, the beach, a children's museum, and shopping. Then on Friday we spent a family day on Pismo Beach. Hieu and Dilyn watching the basketball game.

We had a fun birthday party for Dilyn with a few friends. We had crafts, a pinata, water play, and some cupcakes. Dilyn had a great time and has really enjoyed his new toys.

Dilyn celebrated his first birthday with Grandma and Grandpa Kjar. He loved ripping the paper off the presents and eating a whole piece of cake. With double fists full, he ate it in no time. Grandma made the cute baseball cake, and gave him the helicoptor.
